Last Thursday(6.19), the Korean Teachers and Education Workers Union(KTU) was deprived of its status as a legal union(here you'll get more detailed info).
Today in the morning(KST) KTU announced during a press conference in Seoul...

 

...its next steps to fight for legality. According to the S. Korean media KTU promised an "all-out struggle against the gov't" to regain legal status, resp. until the following demands are met:
1. Withdrawal of the decision to turn the KTU into an illegal union!

2. Revise the current law on teachers' unions!

3. Implement a special law for the proper settlement of the Sewol ferry disaster!

4. Withdraw the nomination of Kim Myeong-soo as the new "education minister"!
