Y'day afternoon until the late evening/early night: Around 50,000 people, incl. 6000 teachers/KTU activists...

...joined a candlelight vigil(related 'reports' in the S. Korean [bourgeois]media you can read here and here) at Cheonggye Plaza and urged for an immediate search of missing victims and a transparent and thorough investigation of Sewol ferry tragedy. After the candlelight vigil, they started a peaceful march towards Seoul City Hall, but they were blocked and attacked by the riot cops & at least 115 citizens were arrested...

Today S. Korea observes the "Parents' Day"(PD). But as you can see, there are several ways to celebrate PD: While some kids "went to the barricades" to protest the nefarious handling of the "Sewol" ferry disaster by the S.K. gov't...

...the state power(i.e. the S.K. gov't) sent the cops to "teach" - as usual - the kids "a lesson"(*)...
