  • Who cares? They got less than 2 percent of the vote. They are marginal. Unimportant. Forget them. They don't count.

  • That other poster probably meant "burp" when he said "blurp". I would understand it that way at least.
I wonder where we would be here in Singapore if we had militant labor goon squads like you got them in Korea. Probably our country would be something like Korea without the snow storms. Ha! There's a country like that already: the Philippines. Good climate but nothing works. People from there even move to Korea to try to find a better life in the snow storms! Nah, I like my trains running on time here in good old Singapore. We get things done here. Thanks for listening.

  • KCTU might just blurp out a bunch of big speech bubbles on their way down. What are they going to do they haven't done under the Roh administration already? E.Land... big deal. Strikes, street battles? All been done under Roh and Roh let did let them get away with it. What if the Korean public just gets tired of KCTU's interruption of the daily life of ordinary citizens and chooses to support the new administration? Actually, I see that coming. Then, good night, KCTU!

Do you still have the pictures from the vendors protest and defense of their protest in Cheonggyecheon years ago? You know, when the construction mafia were clearing people away... Can you email me them or send me the link to them if you do?

    best
    j

  • Saving the portraits, eh? In this case, KCNA might even report the truth. Many Japanese went to the same lenghts to save portraits of the emperor during the bombing raids of WWII. Probably many Koreans at that time, too - the Japanese emperor was their emperor as well, after all. So, those folks have a training in those things for many generations... different portraits - same attitude these days.
