'We need to keep on fighting'

Spanish miners are protesting today in Madrid against government cuts that threaten their livelihoods. More than 8,000 have been on indefinite strike since the end of May. Jason Parkinson filmed violent clashes over the past month between miners and riot police and got rare access to interview workers who have occupied the mines for over a month (Guardian, 7.11):
