For many years the SK gov't has refused to recognize the Korean Government Employees Union(KGEU), and has sacked 137 of its members, including its president and general secretary, charging them with being members of an “illegal organisation". Now the union is demanding that all those workers be re-hired and the KGEU is recognised. Now, with several measures(sit-in struggle, hunger strike etc.) they’re demanding - supported by int'l solidarity - that "President-elect Park(Geun-hye) make real her campaign commitment to genuine social dialogue"...

But four days ago(2.13) Seoul's Yongdeungpo District office, which is 'responsible' for area where the KGEU sit-in strike tent is located, sent a warning(eviction order) to remove the KGEU tent until tomorrow(2.18)...

...otherwise "it will be evicted by force in cooperation with the local police".
