Yesterday afternoon thousands of workers rallied in S. Korea to demand a final, positive solution for the millions of so-called "irregular" workers. This "Nationwide Protest Day" was orgainzed by the Korean Metal Workers' Union(KMWU).

In Seoul about 3,500 workers gathered in front of Hyundai/KIA HQ, located in the southern Yangjae-dong(district), demanding "Abolish 'irregular' employments - regular jobs for ALL!!"...

 
...but finally they were attacked(27 workers arrested, at least 50 injured..) by thousands of riot cops!!
