On the 358th day of their struggle, dismissed Kiryung Electronics workers hold a demonstration performing an orthodox Buddhist-style prostration...

...after a press conference near the company’s headquarters in Seoul’s Dongjak district, calling for a world without irregular workers, Dec. 22. Until Dec. 26, the workers will continue their demonstration, moving from the National Assembly toward the Blue House with stops at other worker sit-in sites, including Cable and More workers in front of the Press Center Building, LG Plus and Gwanghwamun Square. The workers were dismissed after Kiryung Electronics was sold off in parts. The workers are still struggling despite a court ruling in their favor in May 2013. The company relocated their offices without telling the reinstated workers.(source: Hankyoreh, 12.23)
