According to Wikipedia "A general strike (or mass strike) is a strike action in which a substantial proportion of the total labour force in a city, region, or country participates. General strikes are characterized by the participation of workers in a multitude of workplaces, and tend to involve entire communities..."
So, to cut a long story short, KCTU's "General Strike"(aka "National People's Strike") wasn't a general strike and above all not a "people's strike"[for more detailed info, especially the - more or less - poor 'performances' in the various provinces/cities, please check out the latest (Korean)reports on LabourStart(2.25/26)]!!
