Recently - once again - a former Ssangyong Motors worker passed away! He is the 23rd dismissed worker to die since the workers were forced out of work in 2009(*). Today's impressions from the SsangYong Memorial Site nearby Daehanmun, the main entrance of Deoksu-gung(palace) in the center of Seoul:

Related stuff(i.e. some of the recent announcements in the N.K. 'media'):
It is the unanimous will of the army and people of the DPRK that if the belligerent forces dare make a provocation, they will take it as a golden opportunity and turn it into a Great War for National Reunification. (Minju Choseon, 10.2)
The army and people of the DPRK are closely following the group of traitors who are escalating military tension while making a string of remarks inciting confrontation with the DPRK almost every day backed by its master. If a chance is given, they will wipe out at a breath the group of traitors and realize the nation's cherished desire for reunification. (KCNA, 10.1)
The Southwestern Front Command has already received the operation order from the Supreme Command to turn the West Sea of Korea into a deadfall of enemies and wage a Great War for National Reunification if enemies fire even a bullet into the area of the DPRK side. (KCNA, 9.22)
Last Friday(10.5) - under the motto "All is the Sky, We are the Sky" - the "Grand March for Life and Peace" started in Jeju City...
Background: Last June, laid-off workers of SsangYong Motors, Gangjeong villagers in resistance against the construction of the Jeju Naval Base and bereaved families of the Yongsan tragedy (Ssangyong_S, K(G)angjeong_K, Yongsan_Y) and their related associated organizations launched the SKY ACT/SKY Joint Action Committee.
So the "Grand March for Life and Peace" will be a preliminary highlight to gain more public attention for some of the main current unsolved social problems in S. Korea(more detailed info about the march you'll find here!).
Yesterday's first leg of the march: Mokpo and Gwangju. Here just some impressions from yesterday's first leg - after leaving Jeju Island - of the march in Mokpo and Gwangju(more pics and a short 'march report' you'll get here):
