   Because of the strange food in the last weeks – just water soup and rice – some of the inmates here get stomach problems. Last Monday one visiting member of “Mission for Migrant Workers/Friends Without Borders” advised us to demand at least for breakfast bread, eggs, and milk. So on last Monday afternoon we demanded it for the following mornings. The result: 2 days they – immigration officers – refused to give us breakfast and the rest days we got per detainee (6 persons demanded the change) 100 ml milk (half a glass, last Saturday it was just 100 ml apple water), about 40 g of bread and no eggs.
   
   WE DENOUNCE IT AS AN ATTACK ON THE DETAINEE’S HUMAN RIGHTS
   The health condition of one of our inmates is continuously worsening. Day by day he’s getting weaker and he worries to take action, because he fears to be locked up in the arrest cell. Suspiciously, since Sunday, this (the breakfast conditions) changed – but more about this “miracle” later (perhaps next week).
   Last weekend alone in our cell (18m2) 20 detainees had to spend day and night. All together we were more than 110 detainees in about 200 m2. The youngest was about 16 years old (from Mongolia) and the oldest 84 (from China).
   
   P.S.
   Under these circumstances, detained here and only few times people comrades are coming to pick up my writings, it is very hard to keep the reports up to date. For example, we have only limited access to writing paper.
   Today is the 5th day – since last week’s Tuesday (from that day we demanded our right for alternative breakfast/ bread, eggs and milk instead of pig food rice) that the “authorities” here refuse to give us breakfast! But be patient. Soon we’ll strike back!!

   From detention centre to the jails: SOLIDARITY MESSAGE (I.P. no chr!)
   
   Last week Hong Gil-dong was visiting me in Mokdong Detention Centre, today 7/27 and he told me about the recent arrests of jeon cheol yeon activists.
   On one side, of course, it is a very sad development! But on the other side: this reaction of the South Korean state shows us that they take our resistance against the ongoing attacks against the people who just defend their basics of existence very serious (long time ago Mao Zedong said: “ If our enemy is fighting us – it is good and not bad”).
   
   In detention centers or in jails, inside or outside, one front, one struggle.
   No Breakdown, Stop Crackdown, and deportations!
   Let’s achieve Legalisation!
   Let’s fight together for a world without exploitation and oppression! Tujeng!
