What is to add? First of all: Lee Soo-ho (president of KCTU) made a speech on the final rally. But unlike last year’s struggle of disabled people, here on the main demo he was pushing a activist’s wheelchair, he left directly after the rally. When the time came that the situation was getting more serious (on the Mapo Bridge, MP) nearly all the organized unionists, street vendors, poor people… left the scene. So, on the end, the final battle just about 200 activists – disabled people, supporters of irregular workers, students, SP members – were holding the position, and confronted with the riot cops. After the taking over the MP the cops promised, if we give free just one line for traffic, we would get back the first six arrested activists. Many people believed it and so we did. Only because of that you’ve to understand the following atmosphere (after “The MB was in the hand of the demonstrators”). Short after that some units of the riot cops were starting new attacks (we found out, that their “leaders” were complete unorganized, definitely totally confused. Of course we fought back and possibly in this situation the real “leadership” of the cops made the decision to f… us, to finish the “party” by force. On the other side, like one comrade said, it was from the beginning their (cops’) plan to break the demo by force. Anyway on the end at least 70 people were arrested and several wounded. S. Korea’s “rulers'” way to celebrate the “Day for Disabled Persons”!!!

...but actually nothing was over.

After about 30 minutes the riot cops started again with attacks...
