Y'day(10.26) afternoon in front of Seoul's central station: Roughly 10,000 labor activists joined a "struggle rally", organized by KCTU to protest the current anti-laborer policy by the S. Korean government. Consequently the case of KTU(last Thursday MoL effectively has disbanded the Korean Teachers and Education Workers’ Union!) was one of the main topics(motto: "The gov't said 'KTU is not a trade union anymore'. We are saying 'Park Geun-hye is not president any more!'") of the protest rally...

Approx. 10,000 members of the Korean Teachers and Education Workers Union(KTU) gathered yestreday(10.19) in front of the "Independence Gate" in Seoul's Seodaemun-gu(district) to protest the government's denial of their freedom of association, after 3 days union ballot(related article: Teachers' union defies government).
