The Panmunjom Declaration is a great signal flare fired by the north and the south of Korea and serves as a historic milestone for connecting the broken vein of the nation and ushering in a new era of independent reunification.
Thanks to the adoption of the declaration, the fellow countrymen received a programme for ushering in a new era of independent reunification and have became to more vigorously turn out in the patriotic struggle for the national reunification with confidence.
The declaration is the most realistic and reasonable programme common to the nation as it is based on the idea of By Our Nation Itself and the principle of independence and reflects the intention and desire of the entire nation and meets the requirement of the international community aspiring after the peace and reunification on the Korean Peninsula.

Except the so-called "Workers Party", ruling(since almost 70 years) North Korea(aka the "paradise of the working class"/"socialist fairyland")!! For example: yesterday's KCNA and Rodong Sinmun didn't mention it - i.e. Marx' birthday - at all.
Why? Because the "Workers Party of Korea"(WPK) and N. Korea it self is - possibly(^^) - neither socialist nor revolutionary. Quite the contrary: the N. Korean political system - represented by the WPK(resp. the Kim Dynastie, incl. Kim Jong-un) - is an anti-communist and counter-revolutionary entity!!!

Imperialist Idea and Culture Should Be Rejected
The ideological and cultural poisoning by the imperialists is a hideous reactionary offensive to stamp out the popular masses' consciousness of independence and undermine their faith in socialism.
The imperialists, who are keen on aggression and plunder, domination and subjugation, are afraid of the unity of the politically awakened independent people. So they are working hard to stamp out the people's consciousness of independence and estrange and divide them.
It is the truth proven by the practical experience of the Korean revolution that one can become a victor when one preserves his own ideology.
