Wow, just some days ago I got following letter/eMail from Finland:

"*Hi Comrade!

You may not believe this, but Migrant Workers Are Not Terrorists got a
prize at Bangladesh!!!

International Film Critics Association of Bangladesh Jury Award in Short
and Independent series.

Simo was there and he received a nice statue and diploma.
It's a pity that the festival does not have any kind of website.

Today the third time since 2002 I get visitors from S. Korea who will participate in the Berlinale(Berlin Film Festival). I think this will be again 10 hard days for me... (party, maekju, soju, 'old' memories... - uhuu...)

혁명을 위해 뭘 할 건지

아무도 이야기하는 사람이 없는 것 같다.
그저 하루하루 살기 바쁜 사람들.
다 노동자라고 하고, 또 투쟁을 한다고 한다.
과연 그런가?

스무 고개를 넘는 일도 아니고
뭐가 그리 다른 할 일들이 많은지 모르겠다.
갈 곳은 뻔한데도 아직도 계속 엉뚱한 짓을 하며 투쟁한다 한다.
왜 그런가?

따뜻한 곳에서 결코 나오지 않는 사람들
혁명을 위해 뭘 할 건지 별로 고민하고 싶지 않은 사람들.

쉬운 길이라 하며
전혀 엉뚱한 길을 가고 있는 많은 사람들.

그저 하루하루를
투쟁을 위장해 투쟁하고 있는 사람들.
그래서 바쁜 사람들.......

Harrharr, this song – Paint it Black, The Rolling Stones – is possibly more related to my present state(attitude/frame) of mind (...once again, harrharr...) - as to any anti-war, class struggle, or whatever issue...

I don’t know how the designer was selecting the stuff, but about the relation between politics and culture/music, he or she has possibly no idea, not really... (even the complete song is very impressive...) Never mind! What for the "progressive" movement need to know about culture?? (Kultur ist eh nur buergerliche Scheisse!!^^)
