One of today's top stories in the S. Korean and int'l media: "N. Korea says it targets S. Korean media for possible attack" (Yonhap), "Pjöngjang droht Südkoreas Medienkonzernen mit Raketenangriff" (Spiegel), "North Korea threatens to attack South Korean media" (AFP)...
But also in the North Korean 'media'(KCNA and Rodong Shinmun) the piece "General Staff of KPA Sends Open Ultimatum to S. Korean Group of Traitors" is THE 'smash hit'(^^)!!

The General Staff of the Korean People's Army sent the following open ultimatum to the south Korean group of traitors on Monday:
The celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union are now taking place in the revolutionary capital of Pyongyang with splendor.
They are a great political festival of children unprecedented not only in the history of the Korean nation but in the long history of mankind.
As many as 20 000 delegates of school children have come to Pyongyang on invitation from all parts of the country, including remote villages and solitary islands.
It was the noble outlook of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on the younger generation and the future that they showed paternal loving care and solicitude for them, calling them kings of the country (*). This outlook has been steadfastly carried forward by the dear respected Kim Jong Un.
All the service members and people are immensely excited and pleased with this stirring reality.
The world is becoming envious of the DPRK, noting that such great event can take place in socialist Korea only.
But it is only the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors in south Korea that is chilling the atmosphere of these auspicious events of the children.
From May 29 the group set in motion Chosun Ilbo, Choongang Ilbo, "A channel" of Dong-A Ilbo, KBS, CBS, MBC, SBS and other media to launch a campaign defaming the above-said celebrations. It went the lengths of resorting to a new campaign of hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK, availing itself of this opportunity.
The children of the kindergarten in magnificent and modern Changjon Street were so happy as to have a photo taken with Kim Jong Un and sons and daughters of ordinary working people are participating in the above-said celebrations. However, the Lee group is letting loose a string of vituperations describing all these blessings as "charades intentionally orchestrated" by the supreme leadership of the DPRK.
The auspicious political festival was opened amid joy and cheers of three million of schoolchildren, hailed by their fathers and mothers throughout the country. The group, however, is playing down it as "events for publicity stunt," "events to win popularity", "events to curry favor with them." It made no scruple of letting loose a spate of such invectives as deliberately hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK, describing the great inheritance of the love for the younger generation and the future as "act of imitating gesture and copying after Hitler" and "the north's staging of a political show as that staged by the Nazis to train the Juvenile Corps.
And the Lee group went the lengths of describing the unblemished naive schoolchildren as "children on markets" more familiar with capitalist markets than socialist policies and "mere children knowing nothing about the world".
This is a new form of evil action hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK. It is a thrice-cursed criminal act as it is a monstrous mud-slinging at the rosy future of our revolution.
There is no country in the world as the DPRK which projects children as kings of the country.
When babies are born, they are taken care of at palaces of babies and children are rapidly growing at children's palaces, bringing their talents into full bloom. They are leading such blessed lives under the immensely profound loving care of the great persons of Mt. Paektu, something rare to be found in any other parts of the world.
It was President Kim Il Sung who brought up all the children under his deep care with the noblest viewpoint on the younger generation and the future, despite snow and rain. It was leader Kim Jong Il who saw off the children leaving for their camps while starting his journey to the front along rugged roads in adversity.
It was Kim Jong Un who visited the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School on the New Year's Day and put forward its children as future pillars.
It was thanks to this profound care of the sun that the children were provided with ampler opportunities of learning and flags of the Children's Union fluttered more vigorously over their camps under the clean and blue sky of the country even under the difficult situation where its people had to fasten their belts in manifold adversity.
Children are the future of the country and a symbol of hope and victory.
The above-said vituperation let loose by the group of traitors is nothing but a shriek made by the group, utterly discomfited by the bright future of the supreme headquarters of the DPRK and rosy future of the younger generation.
From olden times, idiots are apt to see everything quite different from a reality.
It is quite natural that the group of traitors branded as fools, idiots and blockheads can hardly see the present world correctly.
If it is not true, how can the group describe the great inheritance of our nation as "imitation" and compare the children who would shoulder upon themselves the future of the nation with the juvenile organization of fascist Hitler?
As for Hitler, he was the fascist fanatic who drove guiltless humankind into pitfalls of disasters and death, special class war criminal who destroyed his country and nation and die-hard tyrant who had no love for its children.
The south Korean people had already branded the worst traitor Lee as a notorious "Hitler Lee" and burned the traitor in effigy in Nazi uniform, bearing the same moustache as Hitler's as he has been hell-bent on mercilessly suppressing the protestors at the point of bayonet and enforcing an unpopular rule.
It is said that one's wrong tongue-lashing is as harmful as a sword cutting off one's head.
Upon hearing the news that the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK and slandered its loved children, the officers and men of the three services of the KPA are expressing towering resentment and pledging themselves as one to resolutely settle accounts by force of arms with those who violated the moral law of the nation and defamed the great man whom the people follow and the world look up to.
Officers and men of the army corps, divisions and regiments on the front and strategic rocket forces in the depth of the country are loudly calling for the issue of order to mete out punishment, declaring that they have already targeted Chosun Ilbo at coordinates of 37 degrees 56 minutes 83 seconds North Latitude and 126 degrees 97 minutes 65 seconds East Longitude in the Central District, Seoul, Choongang Ilbo at coordinates of 37 degrees 33 minutes 45 seconds North Latitude and 126 degrees 58 minutes 14 seconds East Longitude in the Central District, Seoul, the Dong-A Ilbo at coordinates of 37 degrees 57 minutes 10 seconds North Latitude and 126 degrees 97 minutes 81 seconds East Longitude in Jongro District, Seoul, KBS, CBS, MBC and SBS, the strongholds of the Lee group orchestrating the new vicious smear campaign (**).
In view of this grave situation the KPA General Staff sends the following ultimatum to the Lee group of traitors:
The revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK are the army of the supreme commander and the people's army which is devotedly defending the supreme commander and protecting his idea and the people and children whom he values and loves so much.
It is the iron will of the army of the DPRK that the dens of heinous provocateurs hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK and desecrating its idea, system and people should not be allowed to exist as they are.
We would like ask the Lee group if it wants leave all this to be struck by the DPRK or opt for apologizing and putting the situation under control, though belatedly.
It should take a final choice by itself.
Now it is impossible for the officers and men of the KPA three services to keep back their towering resentment any longer. In case dens of monstrous crimes are blown up one after another, the Lee group will be entirely held responsible for this.
If the Lee group recklessly challenges our army's eruption of resentment, it will retaliate against it with a merciless sacred war of its own style as it has already declared.
We are fully ready for everything.

A few days ago Amnesty Int'l published its annual report. Regarding to the current situation in the DPRK(aka North Korea) the report concluted - unsurprisingly(^^) - the following: Last year "ended with Kim Jong-un succeeding his father..., but there were no indications of an improvement in the country’s dismal human rights record. North Koreans continued to suffer violations of nearly the entire spectrum of their human rights. Six million North Koreans urgently needed food aid and a UN report found that the country could not feed its people in the immediate future. There were reports of the existence of numerous prison camps where arbitrary detention, forced labour, and torture and other ill-treatment were rife. Executions, including public executions, persisted. Collective punishment was common. Violations of freedom of expression and assembly were widespread" .

The Fourth Conference of the Workers' Party of Korea held Wednesday decided to elect the dear respected Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the WPK and people of the DPRK, as first secretary of the WPK true to the behests of leader Kim Jong Il.
And just few hours later the same "news agency" "reported" that The Fourth Conference of the Workers' Party of Korea decided to hold leader Kim Jong Il in high esteem as Eternal General Secretary of the WPK...
* No Problem! Because since 1994 Kim Il-sung's cadaver is (north) Korea's ruling "Eternal President"...
Pyeongyang's KCNA(3.26) "reported" the following:
The 100 days of bitter sorrow since leader Kim Jong Il's untimely passing were a historic period in which the whole world keenly realized that he was the Heaven of not only the Korean people but of all other people and the sun of mankind. At least 190 countries... expressed deep condolences on his demise. Party, state and government heads paid condolence visits to DPRK missions and mourning events such as hoisting of flags at half-mast were held solemnly...

Just read & enjoy(^^) it and have a restful weekend!!
Well, at least since y'day Pyeongyang's agitprop (via KCNA) - resp. its rants of hate - approached the level of al-Qaeda, Islamic Jihad or any other religious fanatic organisation!
Just 'enjoy' the the following lines (yesterday's 1st KCNA 'commentary'):
Not content with holding the war drills against the DPRK, the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors dare point the finger at the sun. The group is the sworn enemies of the Koreans and hideous traitors to the nation who deserve death.
The army and the people are anxious to wage an all-people war of retaliation to mercilessly punish Lee Myung Bak, Kim Kwan Jin, Jong Sung Jo and all other traitors to the last man.
Time is running out for the group of traitors to stay under the sky.
The world will see what a miserable end the group will meet!
In plain English(^^): "Lee Myung-bak - F*ck You!!" (Pyeongyang/'김일성광장', 3.04)
And only few hours later KCNA's 2nd 'commentary' titled "To Finish off Traitor Lee Myung Bak Is Justice" got worse:
The whole world will soon know well that the DPRK's pledge of revenge is not an empty talk.
No one will be surprised to see such mad dogs as Lee Myung Bak, Kim Kwan Jin and Jong Sung Jo bombed to death or their heads to fall down on the ground.
The DPRK has already declared a merciless Holy War of its own style.
The KPA declared that it will chase them to settle accounts with them to the last, be they in Inchon or Seoul or elsewhere in the world.
Don't say this or that about means and form of this Holy War. Don't argue about a war or terrorism.
To finish off traitors is justice and a historic task to be carried out unconditionally with whatever effort.
It is not only a Holy War for freedom but the people's legitimate right to put a definite end to the misfortune of the Korean nation.
The DPRK's merciless sighting shots at the mad dogs will continue till its grudge is fully settled.
It will completely eliminate the barbarians so that the grudge of not only present generation but the generations to come is settled.
The mad dogs running amuck, unafraid of Heaven's punishment, will regret their birth on this earth.

The full text of the North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman's statement is as follows (according to KCNA):
Delegations of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the United States of America (U.S.) met in Beijing, China on 23rd and 24th of February for the third round of the high-level talks between the DPRK and the U.S.
Present at the talks were the delegation of the DPRK headed by Kim Kye Gwan, the First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the delegation of the U.S. headed by Glyn Davies, the Special Representative of the State Department for the DPRK Policy.
The talks, continuation of the two previous DPRK-U.S. high-level talks held respectively in July and October, 2011, offered a venue for sincere and in-depth discussion of issues concerning the measures aimed at building confidence for the improvement of relations between the DPRK and the U.S. as well as issues related with ensuring peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and resumption of the six-party talks.
Both the DPRK and the U.S. reaffirmed their commitments to the September 19 Joint Statement and recognized that the 1953 Armistice Agreement is the cornerstone of peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula until the conclusion of a peace treaty.
Both the DPRK and the U.S. agreed to make a number of simultaneous moves aimed at building confidence as part of the efforts to improve the relations between the DPRK and the U.S.
The U.S. reaffirmed that it no longer has hostile intent toward the DPRK and that it is prepared to take steps to improve the bilateral relations in the spirit of mutual respect for sovereignty and equality.
The U.S. also agreed to take steps to increase people-to-people exchanges, including in the areas of culture, education, and sports.
The U.S. promised to offer 240,000 metric tons of nutritional assistance with the prospect of additional food assistance, for which both the DPRK and the U.S. would finalize the administrative details in the immediate future.
The U.S. made it clear that sanctions against the DPRK are not targeting the civilian sector, including the livelihood of people.
Once the Six-Party Talks are resumed, priority will be given to the discussion of issues concerning the lifting of sanctions on the DPRK and provision of light water reactors.
Both the DPRK and the U.S. affirmed that it is in mutual interest to ensure peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula, improve the relations between the DPRK and the U.S., and push ahead with the denuclearization through dialogue and negotiations.
Both sides agreed to continue the talks.
The DPRK, upon request by the U.S. and with a view to maintaining positive atmosphere for the DPRK-U.S. high-level talks, agreed to a moratorium on nuclear tests, long-range missile launches, and uranium enrichment activity at Yongbyon and allow the IAEA to monitor the moratorium on uranium enrichment while productive dialogues continue.

Yesterday's headlines in the int'l and S. Korean media: "Nordkorea droht Südkorea und USA mit Heiligem Krieg"(N.K. threatens U.S.A. and S. Korea with Holy War, German bourgeois Die Welt), "N. Korea threatens 'sacred war' against S. Korea, U.S."(Yonhap)...
Well, and all this f*cking BS is based on the following 'statement'(2.25) by the N. Korean(aka D.P.R.K.) National Defence Commission:
The Lee Myung Bak group of traitors has embarked upon the road of kicking off again DPRK-targeted Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises in league with the brigandish U.S. imperialists, defying strong domestic and foreign public protest and condemnation.
Huge troops of the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces and their strike means have already been deployed in south Korea and in its vicinity and huge forces of the three services of the puppet army have been put on a wartime posture.
Key Resolve and Foal Eagle are unpardonable war hysteria kicked up by the hooligans to desecrate our mourning period and an unpardonable infringement upon our sovereignty and dignity.
This is, at the same time, a blatant challenge to peace and security on the Korean Peninsula and an undisguised act of disturbing them.
The on-going development goes to prove that the Lee group which is more dead than alive, forsaken by the times, is still resorting to the last-ditch moves for war, backed by its American master.
In view of the prevailing situation, the National Defence Commission of the DPRK clarifies the following principled stand internally and externally:
First. Our army and people will foil the moves of the group of traitors to the nation and warmongers at home and abroad for a new war with a sacred war of our own style.
We have so far made every possible effort to avert a war and defend peace with a high degree of patience and magnanimity.
The Lee group and the warmongers at home and abroad are, however, unhesitatingly plunging to the road of an adventurous war, dreaming of "Egyptian style change" and "Libyan style victory", ignorant of who their rival is.
War maneuvers staged against the belligerent party are, in essence, a silent declaration of a war.
The declaration of the war is bound to be accompanied by a corresponding physical retaliation.
Now that a war has been declared against us, the army and people are firmly determined to counter it with a sacred war of our own style and protect the security of the nation and the peace of the country.
The target of this war is the Lee group and hordes of warmongers at home and abroad.
The Lee group is hordes of traitors for all ages as it is rubbing salt into the wound of the compatriots grieving over the great loss to the nation through a renewed saber-rattling, not content with the high treason it had already committed during that period.
The U.S. imperialists are the sworn enemy keen to launch another war of aggression to impose "American style political mode" upon us, not content with the painful tragedy of division forced upon our nation, the tragedy that has lasted for more than half a century.
The sacred war will make a clean sweep of the Lee group and those warmongers from this land by the war mode of our own style, our strong striking means unknown to the world.
Second. The just struggle of the people in the south and overseas compatriots will be further intensified to bring down the Lee regime under the motto of peace against war.
The Lee group is nothing but human scum which had been forsaken by all Koreans already long ago.
"Myung Bak, quit" and "Let's judge the Lee Myung Bak regime and set up a new government for national reconciliation." This is the shout of the political and social circles in south Korea and the mind-set there.
The Lee regime is little short of a ship in distress which began sinking in face of the stormy waves of the angry public.
We admonished the group enough to make it understand and set an example in the four years of its office and showed it through an actual battle what our strike that turned waters into a sea in flames.
This being a hard reality, the Lee regime is still persisting in sycophancy, submission and treachery, failing to come to its senses.
That is why we branded the group of traitors as the one which should not be let to go scot-free.
In response to the mind-set in the south, our army and people will encourage and firmly back the people in the south and overseas compatriots in their nation-wide struggle to bring down the Lee regime in the idea of attaching importance to the nation and putting it above anything else and from a patriotic stand.
Third. Our army and people will show the U.S. imperialist warmongers hell-bent on war of aggression and intervention what their arms and real war are like.
It is the U.S. imperialist aggressors who are chiefly to blame for having driven into a phase of war the unstable situation on the peninsula where neither war nor peace has persisted for such a long period. It is again those warmongers who have staged ceaseless provocative war maneuvers in south Korea and in its vicinity, pursuant to their scenarios for a war of aggression against the north to confirm their feasibility.
In view of the intensified moves of the U.S. imperialists to ignite a war against the DPRK, they will shatter reckless military provocations, arms build-up and war maneuvers with increased posture to fight a resolute battle against the U.S. and launch a struggle of high intensify to drive out of this land the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces, the main hurdle lying in the way of achieving peace and security on the peninsula.
They will always keep the bases of the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces and centers for their military operations against the DPRK within striking range and wipe them out at a single blow, should they provoke us.
Nuclear weapons are not the monopoly of the U.S. We have war means more powerful than the U.S. nukes and ultra-modern striking equipment which no one has ever possessed.
The U.S. is sadly mistaken if it thinks it is safe as its mainland is far away across the ocean.
There is no limit to the striking intensity and range of our army and people to wipe out the aggressors.
It is their unchangeable stand to show the enemy what their arms and real war are like.
The ongoing struggle to bury the group of traitors and warmongers at home and abroad is a patriotic struggle on which the destiny of the nation in the new century of Juche year hinges.
No force on earth can overpower the single-mindedly united army and people of the DPRK.
Under the leadership of the peerless brilliant commander of Mt. Paektu they will usher in a new era of national reconciliation and peace and prosperity proudly and forcefully, shattering every war move of the enemy.

Well, since several years the S. Korean military, the NIS and many (mainly conservative) lawmakers are warning (possibly not baseless??!!) against North Korean attacks of cyberterrorism against the S. Korea's gov't, the industrial complex and 'hostile' political parties...
But now - surprise, surprise - we'd to learn that (some of) the 'activists' of the consrevative circle (possibly verry close related to the gov't, industrial complex, conservative parties...) are using... CYBERTERRORISM in S. Korea against S. Korean political parties!!
Since y'day the website of the opposition "Unified 'Progressive' Party" is under cyber attack...
