꿈꾸는 마리오네트

본문

동생이 아침에 일찍 나가는 관계로,

꼭 한 번 깨고 다시 잠이 드는데,

그 때마다 이상한 꿈들을 꾼다.

오늘은 여행을 가는 꿈을 꾸었다.

나는 아무런 계획도 없이 갑자기 우즈벡으로 날아갔다.

그것도 중국에서 피플파워 회의를 하고 말이다. ㅋㅋ

그런데 우즈벡에 대한 아무런 정보가 없는 나는(정말 왜 우즈벡이었을까, 그것도 궁금하네)

어쩔 줄 모르고 거리를 걷는데 거기서 내 고등학교 친구인 M을 만났다.

그녀는 고등학교 때 나와 꽤 친했는데 언젠가부터 전혀 연락을 하지 못했던 친구였다.

나는 반가움에 그녀에게 인사했는데

그녀는 나를 전혀 알아보지 못했다.

당황한 나는 더듬거리며 그녀와 나의 사이를 설명했고,

그녀는 내키지 않는다는 듯이 고개를 끄덕였다.

난 이 근처에 괜찮은 숙소라도 소개시켜 달라고 했고

그녀는 6달라짜리 유스호스텔을 얘기해줬다.

그리고 재빠르게 사라져버렸다.

나는 그 거리에 한참을 서 있었고 비가 내렸고..

뭐 그러다 일어났다.

하루종일 그녀가 날 보던 눈빛이 잊혀지지가 않는다.
