KTX Korean High Speed Tains.

Because of lower speed area, the noise is becoming the smaller than high speed area. As you know, the residents around railroad face in severe noisy, even though built up sound absorbing walls.

 

Also, the railways are vulnerable to traffic accident at a railway crossing. Also, the train ran off the track more frequently. As I know, at the past happen to so many traffic accidents at a railway crossing and ran off the track.

 

Also, the KTX trains have so many accidents, even though it was more lighten for good luck. But we must be more careful manage it regards super high speed railways over 300km/H. The accident must be going to a huge disaster, if the KTX take an accident over 300km/H.

 

철도청은 최근 빈발하는KTX 차량 탈선 및 기타 고장 사례에 대해서 바짝 긴장하여 대처해야 합니다. 이런 조그마한 고장과 소소한 사고들이 종종, 대형사고의 전주곡이 될 수도 있습니다.우리가 프로가 되어야 한다는 의미는 바로 이런 것들입니다. 우리는KTX를 프랑스에서 도입했지만, 그러한 초고속 기술에 대한 원천 기술 확보가 안 된 상태입니다. 그리고 그간 이러한 초고속 열차를 관리 유지하기 위한 “베스트 급의 기술력도 미흡하다”는 의혹이 듭니다. 최근 빈발하는 사고들이 이를 증명해 주고 있습니다.

 

이러다가 언젠가 큰 사고 터집니다. 시속300Km가 넘은 초고속 상태에서 사고가터지면, 대형재난입니다. 강철 프레임으로 된 기차라고 해도, 종이장처럼 구겨지고, 그 재난의 정도는 말로 표현할 수 없다는 사실을 반드시 인지하고 정신 바짝 차리고 일을 해야 한다는 것입니다. 과거 독일의 기차 사고를 상기해 보시오. 일본도 있습니다. 대형재난이 됩니다.

 

자기부상열차는, 일반적으로 볼 때, 일반 열차에 비해서, 사고의 위험, 재난의 위험이 반감된다는 사실을 인지해 둡시다. 탈선의 우려는 거의 없다고 보여지고요. 건널목 교통 사고 따위는 있을 수가 없는 것이고가 궤도를 따라서 움직이기 때문 입니다. 여러 면에서 검증해 보아도, 자기부상 열차가 월등하게 장점이 많습니다.

It was the first derailment involving the KTX, which began operations in 2004.

"It was the 10th stoppage this year and the 10th derailment in the past three years of trains run by state rail company, Korail. The latest accident took place 71 days after a KTX bullet train jumped the track also on the southern outskirts of Seoul, and only 10 days after Korail announced an ambitious plan to upgrade train maintenance and safety measures to ""aircraft level.

 

KTX trains have seen 36 breakdowns and accidents, big and small but none fatal, this year alone, including derailment, sudden stopping and resultant delays and waiting. The older trains imported from France are experiencing problem in the timely replacement of parts, while new, domestically-built ones have yet to prove their mechanical completeness. The Korail president, a former police chief, fired 3,000 maintenance workers, and even had a student engineer behind the controls.

 

The Amagasaki rail crash occurred on 25 April 2005 at 09:19 local time (00:19 UTC), just after the local rush hour. The Rapid Service (a seven-car commuter train) came off the tracks on the West Japan Railway Company (JR West) Fukuchiyama Line (JR Takarazuka Line) in Amagasaki, Hyōgo Prefecture, near Osaka, just before Amagasaki Station on its way for Dōshisha-mae via the JR Tōzai Line and the Gakkentoshi Line, and the front two carriages rammed into an apartment building. The first carriage slid into the first floor parking garage and as a result took days to remove. Of the roughly 700 passengers (initial estimate was 580 passengers) on board at the time of the crash, 106 passengers, in addition to the driver, were killed and 562 others injured. Most passengers and bystanders have said that the train appeared to have been travelling too fast. The incident was Japan's most serious since the 1963 Yokohama rail crash in which two passenger trains collided with a derailed freight train, killing 162 people.

 

A train collision occurred at about 8:30 pm Saturday (July 23, 2011) on a bridge near Wenzhou of China when bullet train D301 (modal CRH2-139E) rear-ran into D3115 (modal CRH1-046B), which allegedly lost power after lightning strike. It has killed 35 people and left 192 others injured, as a spokesman of the Ministry of China Railways said.

A rush hour collision in Germany between a passenger train and a construction engine has killed three people and injured a further 13 near the towns of Muelheim and Offenbach.

 

The commuter train, travelling between nearby Frankfurt and Hanau, hit a construction vehicle in the early hours of Friday morning, which was still on the track following overnight maintenance work.

 

It is believed that two of those killed were construction workers, while the passenger train's conductor is believed to be the other.

 

The passenger train, which was carrying 35 passengers at the time, hit the engine and derailed but currently there is no confirmed cause for the how the trains came to collide.
