난 늘 더 많은 것을 원해왔어
그런데 뭘 가져도 늘 똑같더라고
돈은 변덕스럽기만 하고

더 큰것만 원하던 우리의 일상이 
어느새 죄악이 되어가고 있었던 거야
물론 재미도 있었지 하지만
이제 그만해야 하지 않겠어?
세상이 너무 빨리 움직여
사는 속도를 좀 늦춰야 할 것 같아
우리 머리를 잔디 위에 쉬게 하면서
잔디가 자라는 소리를 들어보지 않을래?

푸른 언덕이 있고
차는 저 멀리 드문드문 보이는 곳
낮에는 찬란한 빛으로 넘쳐나고
밤에는 수많은 별을 볼 수 있는 곳
세상이 너무 빨리 움직여
사는 속도를 좀 늦춰야 할 것 같아
우리 머리를 잔디 위에 쉬게 하면서
잔디가 자라는 소리를 들어보지 않을래?
