우리는 최근 현대중공업에 이스라엘 AEG(Automotive Equipment Group)사와의 굴삭기 Robex 320 LC-7A 거래에 대해 묻는 이메일을 보냈습니다. 돌아온 대답은 "현대중공업 건설장비는 이스라엘 AEG사에게 2013년 1월 초 거래 중단 통보 공식 Letter를 이미 발송"했다는 것이었습니다.
Recently we sent a letter to Hyundai Heavy Industries to ask about their relationship with Israeli company Automotive Equipment Group (AEG) concerning the Robex 320 LC-7A excavator deal. There is ample evidence available from a simple Google search to indicate the use of Hyundai’s excavators for house demolition in Palestine. Here we want to simply point out that the Israel’s policy of displacement obviously violates international law and Hyundai’s involvement violates its own management philosophy to “contribute to social development as a global corporate citizen.”

Hyundai’s excavators should not be used to demolish Palestinian homes. This also applies to other companies producing excavators such as Volvo and Caterpillar. Although Hyundai stopped its deal with AEG, we will have to watch those excavations which have already been sold continue to destroy homes.
Excavators constructed by Hyundai or other companies such as Volvo and Caterpillar should not be used in the illegal demolition of Palestinian homes.
